Timber Retaining walls
Cape York Fences is a recognised installer of timber retaining walls in the North Queensland area. Constructed to approved design standards these walls consist of H4 treated logs and either treated splits or sleepers as retainers. A successful wall also requires good drainage .We can assist you with Geo fabric and Ag drain to compliment your structure. Engineering design & certification is available for walls over 1.0 metres.
Materials
We can supply a complete range of material for your retaining wall project including the following:
Logs: Length from 1800mm-6000mm. Diameter from 100mm-300mm. Structural and hardwood logs by request. H4 & H5 treatment.
Retainers: H4 sleepers with 50mm thickness and 2400mm or 3000mm in length. Splits 100mm, 125mm wide in lengths 2400 + 3000.
Accessories
Battens screw fixings, cement, Pre-mix, Rapid set, Ag. Pipe, Geofabric

Decking
Cape York Fences supplies and installs decks in both hardwood and Treated pine decking. Designed to compliment our outdoor living, these products will help enhance your property and lifestyle.
Materials available for supply include the following:
Decking: Hardwood including Kwila & Yellow Balau. 90mm x 19mm profile with reeding to one side. Pine H3 treated 90mm x 24mm profile reeded to one side.
Bearers: 200mm x 50mm H4 treated pine. Hardwood by request.
Joists: 150mm x 50mmH4 treated pine. Hardwood by request.
Posts: Full range of H4 square posts or logs.
Accessories: Battens screw fixings, cement, Pre-mix, Rapid set, Nails.

Balustrade

Gates
Whether you want sliding or swing gates, pedestrian access or vehicle gates we can meet your needs. We can manufacture and install manual or automated electronic gates that will meet your individual needs. Gates can be selected from our range or constructed to your own design and powdercoating colour.
